I usually don't blog about celebrity couples, but I couldn't resist this latest bit of gossip...
It was only a few weeks ago that there were whispers on the internet that Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom were dating and now they're planning to get married this Sunday!! What happened to taking things slow and getting to know each other before making a serious lifetime commitment?
I was watching Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami last Sunday, and she was ranting about her disdain for relationships and essentially said that all men suck and that her last NBA boyfriend was only with her for publicity. I personally think that if it really is love they can wait to see if they still want to get married in about six months or so. What's the rush?! Maybe she has a little one on the way...who knows! I just think that marriage after less than a month of dating is not the best idea.
However it's not impossible for whirlwind courtships that lead to quick marriages to last. One of my Mom's friends got married to a man after they only dated for three weeks and they were married for over 30 years before he died suddenly of a heart attack.
But then again they were not living in Hollywood!
So on Sunday we'll find out if this wedding is the real deal, or if we've all been punked. Do you think the Kardashian-Odom union will be a lasting one, or will they be headed for divorce court by the time Spring Fashion Week rolls around?

Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami is one of my guilty pleasures! I love the "Miami Trick" song too LOL! I think Kourtney is so pretty, well, really all the sisters are gorgeous.
The way Kourtney feels about her ex, Scott, that's exactly how I feel exactly. My roomate kept poking me and pointing at me in the episode a few weeks ago when Kourtney went on a date and said she thought about her ex the whole time - that is me.
I feel like used to people didn't have to know each other a long time before marriage, but now, you just never know WHO a person really is until you put the time in!
