One Spring/Summer trend that has been around for quite some time and is somewhat timeless in my opinion, is the nautical look! I absolutely love anything that has navy or red stripes and anchor details...and that was before I joined my sorority in college (our symbol is the anchor).

I think anyone can pull this look off without looking too costumey...all you need is a great pair of crisp white shorts/capris/pants, a cute striped top (you can always reverse things - wear a striped bottom with a solid top) and great jewelry to accessorize with!

Banana Republic Ruffle Striped Tank - This tank can be paired with blue or white denim, and a cardigan if it's a little chilly.


Kate Spade With A Twist Striped Rosette Tank - very fun, flirty and feminine.


Kate Spade Annapolis Agnes Sweater - I love the ruffle detail on the collar. This sweater is perfect for work, church or a casual date night.


Bebe Roxanne Pin Up Slingback Pump - I think these slingbacks would be perfect with a sweetheart neckline dress for a 4th of July celebration.

Bebe Port of Call Necklace - I would prefer this in a bracelet version, but it's still a cute nautical inspired piece of jewelry nonetheless.
