Clear accessories and shoes were seen all over the Spring 2010 runways, and some designers even incorporated lucite accent into their garments. I remember when Jellies sandals were the rage, so this new and grown up approach to lucite makes me feel like a kid again without looking like one!
Below are some of my favorite lucite picks! I find them to be very chic and modern than tacky.
Michael Kors Runway Sandal - I think this would look great with a crisp LWD for the Summer. These sandals remind me of the Spring 2010 Gucci sandals, and are a far cry from the typical clear stripper sandal that comes to mind when someone mentions clear pumps, lol!
Michael Kors Opal Ballerina Flat - not too sure how these would look on my feet, but I think they're a great change from the usual flip flop. They'd be perfect for lounging by the pool or for a beach day.
Michael Kors Kass Chain Tote - this bag is the perfect Summer bag for an evening out. It goes along perfect with the shoes feature above as well.
Michael Kors Rhodium Bead Necklace - I love this necklace!!! It's a classic style that can be worn with just about any outfit because it's colorless!
Michael Kors Oversized Acrylic Chronograph Watch - I also love this watch. It's a great alternative to a white watch for Spring/Summer.
I know that Michael Kors may be a bit pricey for many budgets, and it's not always the wisest thing to spend an ample amount of money on trendy items that may fade once the season is over. If you want to add a few lucite pieces to your wardrobe check out Forever 21, Claire's, H&M and Target for inexpensive items.
