Snake Charmer

Now that Memorial Day is here and warm weather is in full force, it is the perfect time to don prints...specifically animal.

When one typically thinks of animal print the first thing that comes to mind is the beloved leopard or cheetah print, followed by zebra and then the giraffe print that is gaining popularity.

However when I think of animal print I think of snakeskin...although I am definitely not the biggest fan of of snakes, lizards or any reptile for that matter. But I do think they make fabulous shoes, handbags and belts (don't hate me PETA...I am anti-fur!)

In my opinion snakeskin adds a bit of sophistication to any outfit and is virtually timeless, so it is a great investment and staple piece for any fashionista's wardrobe.

I purchased the above GUESS slingback peep-toe pump from Ross a few months ago and I have been on the search for the perfect clutch to go with it since then. I lucked out this weekend when I scored the RACHEL Rachel Roy python clutch featured with it for a fab price! I plan on wearing the above shoes and clutch with either a white, beige/taupe or black dress for an anniversary dinner/date with my bf.

Below I have featured a few sand python shoes, handbags and accessories that are all reasonably priced for you to take a walk on the wild side!

MICHAEL Michael Kors Sycamore Sandal
Aldo Vanliere Pump

Nine West Ambitious Pump

MICHAEL Michael Kors ID Chain Tote

MICHAEL Michael Kors Moxley Clutch

Banana Republic Italian Covered Buckle Belt

What do you think of python shoes, handbags and accessories? Are you a fan or are they just not for you? Please share, because I would love to know!

Jump On It!

Now that the weather is absolutely perfect, it is the right time to add some fun to your wardrobe!

I have always wanted to wear a jumpsuit and I am this close to purchasing one to wear out for a date with my bf this weekend. I think they are a great alternative to wearing a dress and while it is a lot of fabric, jumpsuits still manage to look very sexy, feminine and conservative all at the same time!

The main reason why I am so drawn to the jumpsuit is the fact that it is so easy to wear. All you need is a fabulous pair of shoes and a great clutch along with gorgeous jewelry...then you're out the door for the evening!

Below I've featured a few celebs looking fab in their jumpsuits...

Kim Kardashian in a strapless jumpsuit. I really like this look on her!

Tyra Banks in a long sleeved jumpsuit with embellished shoulders.

Audrina Patridge, also in a strapless jumpsuit.

Below I've also featured a few jumpsuits that are all under $60 from Arden B:

One Shoulder Drape Sleeve Jumpsuit - perfect for a night out on the town!

One Shoulder Smocked Jumpsuit - I love this color...very South Beach.

One Shoulder Ruffle Jumpsuit - very simple and cute.

Smocked Tube Jumpsuit - just layer on a few gold bangles or a bold statement necklace, and you're set!

Are you a fan of the jumpsuit? If so I'd like to know how you wear yours!

Put A Cork In It...

'Cause we're done with cold weather!

Summer is the absolute perfect (and only time) to wear cork heeled sandals. They add an extra bit of warm weather whimsy to any outfit, and instantly fill me with the desire to abandon all obligations and hop on the next plane to Jamaica!

The best thing about cork sandals, specifically wedges, is that they seem to reemerge every Summer and the styles hardly vary much from year to year. If you invest in a pair of cork sandals you're essentially acquiring a classic Summer wardrobe staple -- rather than a trendy item.

Below I have featured a few pairs of corks sandals that are budget friendly and fabulous!

Michael Kors Meadow Wedge Sandal

Banana Republic Salazar Braided Metallic Wedge

Aldo Breger Wedge

And if you really love the look of cork, the shoes below are the perfect fit...

Aldo Roseborough Sandal

Nine West Bonfire Pump

And no sandal is complete without the perfect mani/pedi in a bold Summer shade! My current nail color obsession is OPI's 'Cajun Shrimp'...yumm.

Sorry for the poor quality...it was taken with my phone.

FYI this is a week old manicure with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

If you don't have this top coat, go get it ASAP from Sally's Beauty Supply. It makes polish last and look glossy soo much longer, quickly dries the polish and even smooths out imperfections like finger or sheet prints. Translation = it's magic in a bottle!
